NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Daniel Theodore Delisle, 58, of North Adams died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, in North Adams.
Born in Springfield on Nov. 1, 1961, son of James A. and Theodora D. Rotolo Delisle, he attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1979.
Mr. Delisle was last employed by Davey Tree Service. He also was a talented musician and played the bass in several area bands. He served as a Little League coach and also coached youth basketball.
Survivors include one daughter, Kara Lynn Delisle of North Adams; two sons, Michael Rory Delisle and Colton Robert Delisle, both of North Adams; three grandchildren, Miaah Southard, Aurora Delisle, and Orion Delisle; a sister, Elizabeth Malloy; a brother, Michael Murphy; his friend, Michelle Hillard; his former wife, Debra Delisle; his former mother-in-law, Shirley Booth, and nieces and nephews.

| Nothing but respect for Dan. A good friend. I'm honored to have known him. He always spoke highly of his kids and family. As an outlier myself Dan had a way of not making anybody feel like they were less than him. He always treated people with the same amount of respect as they showed up with. It comes as a shock and reminder to hear of Dan's parting with the physical realm. I only hope that he is remembered the way I will remember him.
