NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Marie Anne (Farinon) Welch, 73, of North Adams, Mass., died Saturday June 22, 2019, at her home.

She was born in North Adams, Mass., on April 5, 1946, daughter of Orlando Bortolo and Yolanda (Spagnola) Farinon. She attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School.

Marie was last employed as an office manager in the IT industry. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family.

Marie was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and continually challenging herself with learning new painting techniques.

She was a lifelong learner and approached each facet of her life with gusto and passion. After living in Texas and Virginia over the last 40 years, she returned to the Berkshires three years ago to reconnect with its scenic beauty and family.

Survivors include her daughter, Krissy Joanne Camacho of Vienna, Va.; two grandchildren, Natalia, 7, and Nicolas, 5; her sister, Teresa Harris of Houston, Texas; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Her sister, Joanne Farinon, is deceased.
