Molly Lenhoff

December 10, 2001

Molly Lenhoff, 85, formerly of 19 Royal Ave., died yesterday at Williamstown Commons.

Born in North Adams on April 22, 1916, daughter of Jacob and Fannie Snyder Lenhoff, she attended North Adams schools, including Drury High School. She lived in New York City for several years before returning to North Adams in 1963.

Miss Lenhoff was employed by the former Morris Alpert salvage yard, Cramer Furniture Store and the former Sprague Electric Co. for several years.

She leaves a brother, retired Judge Bernard Lenhoff of Williamstown. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Lenhoff, who died Sept. 3, 1992.


Graveside services for Molly Lenhoff will take place Wednesday at 11 in Beth Israel Cemetery, Clarksburg, with Rabbi Jeffrey Wolfson Goldwasser, spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Israel in North Adams, officiating. Memorial week is private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the Congregation Beth Israel Building Fund through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
