NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Francis "Frank" Meczywor, 75, of North Adams died on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.



He was born in Adams on July 17, 1941, a son of the late Stanley and Carol (Rys) Meczywor. He attended schools in Adams.



Mr. Meczywor worked as a self-employed handyman and had worked as a baker for numerous area restaurants.



He is survived by two children, Francis Meczywor Jr. and Audrey Meczywor; three brothers, Theodore Meczywor and his wife Sandra of Adams, John Meczywor of Houston, Texas, and Michael Meczywor and his wife Lisa of Adams; and many nieces and nephews.



He was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Matthew and David Meczywor.
