NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lonnie William Bryan, 68, of North Adams died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.



He was born in Morristown, N.J., on November 4, 1948, son of Leon and June (Lawson) Bryan. He graduated from Bernardsville High School and also graduated from art school.



Lonnie was last employed by CordMaster for about 10 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Adams. Lonnie was a talented artist who made drawings and paintings. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and leaves many friends.



Survivors include his wife, Julie A. (Gazaille) Bryan, whom he married on June 4, 1994; two sons, Joseph J. White and John D. White, both of Adams; and one daughter, Jennifer Williams of Pittsfield. He was the "Pop Pop" to 16 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He also leaves nieces and nephews, including Eugene Blaney.



His sister, Linda Blaney, is deceased.



Funeral notice: Calling hours for Lonnie Bryan will be Monday, January 30, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams. Burial will be private.  



Memorial donations may be made to "The Child's Fund"; St. Jude's Children's Hospital; or Elder Services Meals on Wheels in care of the funeral home.
