NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Deanna Marie Faustini, 57, of North Adams died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at her home.
She was born in North Adams on August 19, 1959, a daughter of the late Ernest P. Faustini Sr. and Jean (Bellows) Faustini. Deanna graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1977 and obtained her registered of nursing degree from St. Vincent's School of Nursing. She was employed at North Adams Regional Hospital as a nurse and later for several home health care providers in the area. Deanna also cared for her late mother as her caregiver for several years.
She was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church and St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams.
Survivors include her daughter Sara Crocker and her husband Joshua of Salem, N.H.; her grandson Matthew Crocker; one brother, Christopher Faustini and his wife Tracy of Smithfield, Va.; and two goddaughters; Kami Astorino and Robin Bellows.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Faustini Jr. and Daniel Faustini.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 14, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams. Memorial donations may be made to Elder Services Meals on Wheels Program in care of the funeral home.

Deanna and I were classmates growing up. Our paths were distant, I live in Italy, but they did cross occasionally.
I remember her trip here a few years back - she was thrilled to be here, just loved it, very very happy.
It is a nice memory to keep.
My sincere condolences to the family and to her friends.
