NORTH ADAMS -- Mary Patricia Caden, 80, of North Adams Commons, formerly of 406 East Main St., died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on Feb. 4, 1921, daughter of Patrick Henry and Mary Frances Sullivan Caden, she attended local schools.
A lifelong communicant of St. Francis' Church, she was a member of its Rosary Society and a longtime volunteer for many church activities and committees.
Survivors include cousins, Margaret "Peg" Connors of Williamstown, Peter Caden of Otis, Mary Johnson of New York City, Nancy Johnson of Broadbrook, Conn., Ellen Williams of Westport Point, and her caregiver, Carol J. McCarron of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mary "Patsy" Caden will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, North Adams. Burial in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 4 to 7. Donations are suggested for the St. Francis Building Fund.
