NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lorraine Marie Dapretto, 80, of North Adams, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at North Adams Commons.

Born in Queens, N.Y., on Jan. 18, 1935, daughter of Anthony and Agnes Fucito Donaruma, she attended schools in Queens.

Mrs. Dapretto was primarily a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Her husband, Henry Dapretto, whom she married on May 31, 1958, died on April 3, 1992.  

She leaves a daughter, Lisa Myers of North Adams; a son, Vincent J. Dapretto of North Adams; a sister, Concetta "Connie" Donaruma of Little Neck, N.Y.; two grandchildren,Tina Myers and Jennifer Myers, and a great grandchild, Mackenzie Utter.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dapretto will be celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.  

A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
