NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Justin Timothy Filiault, 36, of 442 Notch Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 26, 1979, son of Mary-Jeanne Miner Filiault of North Adams and the late Dennis Peter Filiault, he attended Pine Cobble School in Williamstown and Williston Academy, and graduated from the Drury High School. He also received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Mr. Filiault was last employed as a senior software engineer at General Dynamics Defense Systems in Pittsfield.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and was a competitive swimmer in his youth.
Besides his mother, he leaves two brothers, Chad Filiault of Visalia, Calif., and Tyler Filiault of Monroe; his niece and nephew, Brooke and Ryan Filiault, and aunts, uncles and cousins including his godmother, Gisele Bua of North Adams, his godfather, James Bua of Monroe, Robert Filiault of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Donald Filiault of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Jon Miner of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Filiault will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 24, at 11 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
