NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Peter Francis Oleskiewicz, 68, of 150 Ashland St. died Monday, July 27, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Adams on Nov. 16, 1946, son of Herman and Rose Carpentino Oleskiewicz, he attended local schools. He lived in Tennessee for a time before returning to North Adams.
Mr. Oleskiewicz was last employed as a supervisor with Construction Drilling Co.
He leaves two daughters, Melissa Barnes of Lanesborough and Heather Lane of the town of Florida; a son, Peter J. Oleskiewicz of North Adams; two sisters, Darlene Whitman and Charlene Ouimet, both of Adams; three brothers, Joseph Oleskiewicz of Adams, William Oleskiewicz of the state of Florida and Alan Oleskiewicz of Williamstown; five grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Five brothers and sisters predeceased him: Victoria "Dede" Moynihan, Gloria J. Martin, Paul Oleskiewicz, Michael J. Oleskiewicz, and Orville Oleskiewicz, in infancy.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Oleskiewicz will be Monday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue cemetery in Adams.
A calling hour will be held Monday morning from 10-11 at the funeral home. Donations may be made in his memory to the funeral home.
