NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Linda Marie Green, 59, of Wilmington, N.C., formerly of North Adams, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at her home.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 8, 1955, daughter of William J. Gaffey and of Marjorie Carpinello Gaffey Bullett, she attended local schools and graduated from the Drury High School. She moved to North Carolina in 2010.
Mrs. Green was employed in medical records at Williamstown Commons.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She leaves her son, Robert Edward Green III and his wife, Laura, of Durham, N.C.; her daughter, Katie Lynn Gregory and her husband, Christopher, of Southport, N.C.; one brother, Matthew Gaffey and his wife, Colleen, of Williamstown; two sisters, Kathleen LeClair of North Adams and Deborah Rose of Dalton; two grandchildren, Noah James Gregory and Delamey Nicole Gregory, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mrs. Green will be held on Saturday July 18, at 11 a.m. from at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
