Beverly Ann Gibeau, 69

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Beverly Ann Gibeau, 69, of North Adams died Thursday, April 23, 2015, at her home.

Born in North Adams on Feb. 13, 1946, a daughter of Nelson and Eva Niles Briggs, she attended Drury High School and Berkshire Community College.

Ms. Gibeau was employed for many years in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. She was employed at Petricca Industries and the Maxymillian & Co. She also drove a school bus for J.T Bus Line and was a logger in the state of Washington.

She loved spending time with family and friends and loved life and the outdoors. She found freedom when she was riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She was known for her great sense of humor and her ability to communicate with everyone. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She leaves a daughter, Shayne Gibeau Pedercini and her husband, Robert, of Pittsfield; a son, Mark Gibeau of Adams; a sister, Donna Briggs Lonie of the town of Florida; a brother, Marvin "Duce" Briggs of North Adams; theee grandchildren, who will miss her dearly, Amanda Kruszyna and Christopher and Austin Pedercini, a great- granddaughter, Ayva Kruszyna, and a son-in-law, Robert Pedercini.

She was predeceased by her brother Nelson F. "Sonny" Briggs in 1982.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Ms. Gibeau will take place Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.

Calling hours will be Monday, April 26, from 4 to 6 prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home.
