GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Martin Henry LaBombard, 73, of Great Barrington died on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Hillcrest Commons.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 28, 1941, a son of Wilfred and Marion Walden LaBombard, he attended the former St. Joseph's High School.
An Air Force veteran, he served during the Korean War.
Mr. LaBombard was employed at Country Curtains and several South County Restaurants. He also had been the proprietor of the former Cheshire News & Variety.
He leaves a daughter, Jennifer Johnson LaBombard; three sons, Christopher LaBombard of Adams and Mark LaBombard and Martin LaBombard Jr., both of the state of Florida; a sister, Sally Lapine and her husband, Charles, of North Adams; four grandchildren, Meghan, Mallory, Dylan and Claira, and a sister-in-law, Margaret LaBombard.
Her siblings Marianne Smith, Lawrence LaBombard and Robert LaBombard are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mr. LaBombard with full military honors will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery in North Adams.
There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.
