NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rita Catherine Wilusz, 95, of 611 State Road died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014. at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Salerno, Italy, on April 5, 1919, daughter of Ciro and Rosa Sannino, she attended schools in Italy. She came to the United States in 1945, following her marriage.
Mrs. Wilusz was employed by the former General Cable Co. in Williamstown. She first worked in the former Berkshire Hathaway Mills in Adams.
She enjoyed sewing.
Her husband, Stanley Wilusz, whom she married in 1945, died in 1970.
She leaves a son, Frank Wilusz of North Adams; three grandchildren, Frank Wilusz Jr. of Lanesborough, Leigh Corl of West Boylston and Shannon Girard of North Adams; five great-grandchildren, Mitchell Girard, Amber Girard, Chloe Girard, Gracie Griswold, and Zander Griswold; her best friend and caregiver, Linda Hattat, and nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family of 13 brothers and sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mrs. Wilusz will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in her memory through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
