NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary Joan Roberts, 88, a longtime resident of North Adams, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 10, 1926, a daughter of George and Mary Kissonis Conrad, she graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. Roberts was employed by Williams College as an accountant. She had first worked at Sprague Electric Co.
Her husband, William G. Roberts, whom she married Sept. 7, 1946 he died April 28, 2012.
She leaves a son, Michael Roberts and his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Christine Kline and Susanne Labonte; a sister, Rita McAuliff of Albany, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Shane and Tyler Roberts, Sarah and Kaitlyn Kline, and five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Lillian, Christopher and Collin.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeffrey Mach; four brothers, Michael, Benjamin and Joseph Conrad and Peter Wilkus; three sisters, Katherine DeGrenier, Anne Wood and Alice Van Sickle, and two sons-in-law, Michael Kline and Robert LaBonte.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside Services for Mrs. Roberts will take place Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Memorial donations are suggested for the North Adams Ambulance Service through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
