North Adams Public Library Announces Updated Early Literacy Programs for Families

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Youth Services Department of the North Adams Public Library has announced updates to its weekly early literacy programs.   Beginning Tuesday, April 15, "Wigglers & Crawlers" will be held for families with children aged 0-2 years. This program will be led by Youth Services Library Assistant, Ms. Nancy, and will take place weekly at 10:30 AM.   According to the announcement, "The Wigglers & Crawlers program is ideal for babies and toddlers from birth to 2 years old. MCLA Green Living Seminar to Feature Pollinator Habitat Presentation

Grazie Reopening With New Location, New Menu

The restaurant is stocked for this week's opening.  NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — After a monthlong break and a relocation, popular restaurant Grazie is ready to reopen this Wednesday.    Chef/owner Matt Tatro has moved to 310 State St. and expanded beyond the original Italian menu.    "We don't want to limit ourselves," he said. North Adams City Hall Getting Insulation

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — City Hall will be in a bit of disarray as a project to insulate the 1970s building with spray foam is completed.    Mayor Jennifer Macksey said at Tuesday's City Council meeting that the work will take approximately two weeks.    "We received a grant through the Green Communities to do half of the building last year, and we're doing the other half between April 14 and Sept. 25," she said. Tractor Supply to Host Pet Treat Tasting Event in North Adams

Author Discusses Arnold Print Works History at North Adams Library

Trudel will discuss his two-book series on the Arnold Print Works and its leader, W.M. Arthur Gallup.

Clarksburg School Officials Told to Provide Options for Cutting Budget

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — School officials say the fiscal 2026 budget is up by less than one percent — if they didn't have to carry nearly $200,000 for retirements and FICA.   "I think for most towns, the town budget usually carries insurance and FICA, at least for retirees," said Assistant Superintendent Tara Barnes. Drury Students Bring Musical 'Zombie Prom' To Life
