NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) and MOSAIC will present "Reclaiming Revolution: Intersections of Remembrance and Resistance," a group exhibition exploring the role of art in social change. The exhibition features senior capstone work by Max Fyfe, J.C. Innocent, Mannie McBride, Cleo Murphy, and Enaya A. Ogletree, addressing themes of heritage, grief, identity, sustainability, and transformation. At Monday's meeting, it also approved changes in the property tax exemptions, including raising the income limit. The board had voted to dissolve police department in March and rely on the State Police. The two cruisers, including one purchased in 2021, have been taking up space in the garage ever since. Clarksburg School Officials Cut Fiscal 2026 Budget by $90KBy Tammy Daniels, iBerkshires Staff 05:35PM / Thursday, May 01, 2025 | | CLARKSBURG, Mass. — School officials have shaved $90,000 out their $3 million budget for fiscal 2026. The reductions bring the total budget to $3,093,756, a 4.26 percent, or $126,346, increase over this year. The cuts include a reduction in hours in the school for the dean of students, cutting the tuition to Drury High by a third, imposing tuition for 4-year-olds in prekindergarten and trimming supplies and training. Town officials had pushed for the school to cut back from an anticipated 7 percent increase.
