Central Radio, RicksKicks Earn Giorgi League Wins07:49AM / Wednesday, June 28, 2023 | | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Dave Wellington scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Tuesday to lead Central Radio to a 70-66 win over Big Body Beamers in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League. Wellington was backed up by Seth Sehpard with 19 points in a B Division win for Central Radio. Darian Vidal scored a game-high 24 points to lead Big Body Beamers, which got a double-double from Amont David, who had 15 points and 13 rebounds.  Dumpsters are being filled in the back of 19 Eagle Street. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — A protective barrier was put up around the front of the Dowlin Block on Monday morning, signaling that some work may be in store for the 1895 structure. The building was purchased in 2017 by a group including New York developer Veselko Buntic, who is now the principal owner. Buntic, who was busy coordinating workers at the site, said only that they "were doing some work," apparently on the facade.
