NBYHL Ice Jam Fundraiser Concert 11:32AM / Wednesday, May 11, 2022 | | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League (NBYHL) is hosting a fundraising event at the Peter Foote Memorial Rink on Saturday, May 14. The ice will be melted in order to host a night of country music to benefit NBYHL. Local singer/songwriter CJ Field and Nashville recording artist Timmy Brown will be performing. Food trucks and a bar will be provided by Bounti Fare Doors open at 5 pm. The show starts at 6 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. We are looking at a high of 74 in North Adams today, according to Accuweather. But be warned, the National Weather Service released a special weather statement that indicated that a very dry airmass combined with gusty winds will result in elevated fire weather concerns today. This warning expires at 8 pm Wednesday, May 11 gets even better with a high of 80 predicted. Thursday, Temperatures could hit 85. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — McCann Technical School and Berkshire Community College have signed updated articulation agreements for surgical technology, dental assisting and medical assisting. The agreements, which have existed in some form for nearly three decades, allow course credits in the three McCann programs to transfer between the two organizations.
