 ADAMS, Mass. — Adams Community Bank (ACB) announces the promotions of seven management-level positions. Tess Sorrentino has been promoted to SVP and Chief Financial Officer. Since beginning her banking career with the Bank 21 years ago, she has held roles as VP Compliance Officer and VP of Accounting. In 2021, she was promoted to VP Accounting and Controller. She then took on the additional responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Samantha Tanner has been promoted to VP, Marketing and Digital Strategy.  NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The School Building Committee is asking for an extension of the timeline of the $61 million Greylock School project. The idea of an extension has come up several times over the past year in terms of meeting the design and funding deadlines. "We will be requesting a feasibility study agreement extension and the logistics of that are being discussed with the MSBA as to exactly how much time we would request," Matthew Sturz of Colliers International, the owner's project manager, told the committee on Tuesday. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |
Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
