Local Recovery Documentary to Premiere| 11:04AM / Thursday, December 07, 2023 | | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The public is invited to "Blueprint: Building the Foundation for Recovery," a new documentary featuring real stories of recovery in the Berkshires. The film is followed by a community conversation led by local experts including Dr. Jennifer Michaels from The Brien Center, Sarah DeJesus from BHS's Berkshire Harm Reduction, community members from the education field, emergency management, and individuals with lived experience. Clarksburg Taxpayers Will See Drop in Tax Rate, Increase in BillsBy Tammy Daniels, iBerkshires Staff 05:33AM / Thursday, December 07, 2023 | | the Select Board on Dec. 11 noted that there had been a calculation error caused by a $33,000 deficit in the snow & ice account not recording properly. That has changed the estimated tax rate to $15.35 per $1,000. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |

Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
