FITCHBURG, Mass. -- The Fitchburg State women's basketball team Saturday shot 35 percent from behind the 3-point line en route to a 62-39 win over MCLA.

 

Zaylee Ramos and Hailey Peabody each had a double-double for the Trailblazers, accounting for 74 percent of the team's points between them.

 

Ramos finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Peabody had 14 points and 10 boards.

 

MCLA (4-16, 1-6 MASCAC) hosts Westfield State on Wednesday.

 

Women's Hockey

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Caeli Reed scored in overtime to give Rivier a 1-0 win over MCLA at the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink.

 

Juliette Barney stopped 49 shots in goal for the Trailblazers (4-14), who host Anna Maria on Friday.
