NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MountainOne completed an over $1.3 Million renovation to its building located at 93 Main Street.
Working in partnership with local contractors, MountainOne upgraded heating, cooling, and air quality systems throughout the four-story stone building.
"As an anchor institution on Main Street, it is critical for us to make ongoing investments in our physical plant and infrastructure, especially in an iconic building like ours," said Bob Fraser, CEO of MountainOne. "We are proud to work with quality local contractors as our partners, and to make a meaningful investment in this community and the downtown area."
"I would also like to congratulate Pete Fortier, MountainOne’s Facilities Officer who served as the project manager of this complex project, for his oversight," said Fraser.
Adams Plumbing & Heating, the project leader, provided all equipment and managed installation. Subcontractors included Moresi & Associates Electrical Contractors and CTC Inc. – Building Automation of Adams. The renovation included the installation of new roof units lifted in via crane from the Center Street parking lot.
"It was a pleasure working with the MountainOne team to get this project completed," said Amy Moresi, President of Adams Plumbing & Heating. "This was a challenging project and it is comforting to know that this beautiful building is being so well maintained."
Combined with the build-out and renovations at its Insurance and Investments offices at 85 Main Street completed in 2019, MountainOne has invested over $2.5 million in downtown North Adams improvements in recent years.
