NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Police are investigating the alleged harassment of an MCLA student by three men on Ashland Street.
The MCLA Department of Public Safety released a safety alert Saturday, Nov. 7 noting that they are assisting the North Adams Police Department in an investigation of three men who allegedly harassed a female student this weekend.
The statement reports that on Nov. 6 around noon a female MCLA student was walking on Ashland Street where she was approached by three men. According to the alert, the men surrounded her and made derogatory and intimidating comments.
Suspect 1 was described as a white man in his early 20s with brown hair wearing jeans and a black shirt.
Suspects 2 and 3 were described as older white men. One was wearing jeans and the other was wearing cargo pants.
The MCLA student reported this information to the MCLA Campus Police and later to the North Adams Police Department.
Campus police ask that anyone with information call 413-662-5100 or the North Adams Police at 413-664-4945.
Campus safety urged students to practice safe behavior such as being alert and staying in groups.
