NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — On Thursday, Oct. 22, The Plant Connector will be celebrating the opening of their new show, "A Plant Based Circle," from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The show is a collection of plant-based art from Eleanor Derby-Kilfoyle, Kristin Graves, Tina Louise, Fran Berasi, and Alicia Canary.

Each of the artworks is a reflection on plants and a celebration of their power, history, relationship to humans, and/or healing qualities. All works are by local North Berkshire artists.

Included in the show is this collage, entitled "Two Famous Gardens," by Kristin Graves.  Other works include displays of plants, information about plant properties, handmade paper from Japanese Knotweed, and botanical illustrations.

The show will be on view through the end of October.

The Plant Connector is a plant-based gallery and shop in North Adams on 48 Eagle St.
