NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The North Adams Farmers Market has opened for in-person shopping Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: outdoors at the North Adams Armory, 206 Ashland Street, North Adams.

During the quarantine, the farmers market created an online marketplace where customers could order from participating farms. Community volunteers then packed and delivered upwards of 125 orders every Saturday. The market is now a hybrid market: online purchasing is still available but not required to shop in-person at the market.

Per state guidelines, safety measures have been put into place, including contact tracing, wearing masks, maintaining safe distance, no pets, and limiting the number of people in the market at any given time.

All vendors at the North Adams Farmers Market accept EBT and the Market Match program doubles up to $30 of each EBT transaction. The Healthy Incentive Program (HIP) is also accepted by Square Roots Farm. Credit cards, debit cards and cash are all accepted.

Participating farms include Full Well Farm, Christian Chenail, Square Roots Farm, Red Shirt Farm, Senecal's Sugarhouse, Lion's Tooth Farm, Cookies and More, Berkshire Worms (pre-order only), Morin Gardens, AOK BBQ Bread (pre-order only), Willy Chenail. More vendors will participate as the season progresses.
