PITTSFIELD, Mass. — This week on iBerkshiresTV we bring you the latest headlines and we highlight a couple of resources available to the community.
First, we talked with Christa Collier, executive director of the Northern Berkshire United Way, who talked about the organization's goal of being a mile wide and an inch deep. The organization isn't just a funding arm for some 20 important organizations in the county but has also taken on a number of different initiatives including a housing and homelessness collaborative which has been bringing the various organizations looking to address homelessness together to better deliver services
Then we spoke with Keith Girouard from the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network. The organization provides confidential help to small businesses — ranging from an idea to $11.2 million in size — startup, reel in government contracts, and to export products.
