NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Justin Girard had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday to help iBerkshires.com defeat Waterman's Excavating, 52-42, in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Branon Hurst scored a game-high 18 to lead iBerkshires to victory.

 

Lukas Zelazo led Waterman's with 13 points. Sam Larabee and Nick Waterman added 12 and 11, respectively.

 

In Wednesday's other game, Lifting Standards beat Yard Work by Dan, 86-36.

 

Dionte Sandifer scored 20, and Keiland Cross had 14 points and nine rebounds for Lifting Standards.

 

Javi Osorio and Quentin Gittens scored 14 and 11, respectively, in the win.

 

Taverick "Tank" Roberson scored 11 for Yard Work by Dan.

 

On Thursday at Noel Field, it will be the high school division in action. McCann Tech plays Mount Greylock in the opener at 6:30 p.m. with Hoosac Valley against Monument Mountain to follow.
