NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dr. Leigh LoPresti has joined the primary care team at CHP North Adams Family Medical and Dental.
A family medicine physician, LoPresti is a former chief medical officer at Battenkill Valley Health Center in Arlington, Vt. He has practiced medicine in Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Minnesota, and, most recently in Randolph, Vt. He has served on the faculties of the UMass Medical Center, the University of Vermont, Eastern Maine Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
A graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Amherst College. He completed residencies in Fayetteville, N.C., and in Burlington, Vt., followed by fellowships and research appointments; and he was faculty scholar in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
He has been active in medical practice organizations and committees and has received numerous awards and honors for his work. He has published papers and conducted lectures, peer-reviewed workshops and presentations around the United States.
