ADAMS, Mass. — Get "Eggnogged" at The Adams Ale House this Saturday and support the Northern Berkshire Santa Fund.

The tavern will host a dance party to help Berkshire County get into the holiday spirit, offer prizes and help brighten Christmas for children in need.

"Guests can expect a safe and fun city-style club event which eliminates the need to travel outside of our community for an eventful night on the town," organizer Brendan Kordana said. "We’re bringing that energy to Adams for the holiday season."

Local disc jockeys and entertainers DJ BK, DJ Bizz, DJ SL8, Keo Beatz, and Live Music by FourOneTrio will provide entertainment throughout the event that starts at 7.

Kordana said $5 from each ticket sold will go toward the Northern Berkshire Santa Fund, which provides Christmas gifts for children in North County.

"It is particularly important to give back around the holidays because it spreads the spirit of the holidays and Christmas to everyone, not just people who can quote on quote afford it," he said. "The basis of the holidays are supposed to be about charity and being thankful so it’s a reminder of what the holidays are really about and not what they have become."

Kordana said there will also be a 50/50 raffle, and a donation box and other events, contests, and giveaways throughout the night to benefit the Northern Berkshire Santa Fund.

There will also be a $250 prize given to the person wearing the best ugly sweater/holiday outfit.

Kordana said the party is a chance to reconnect with friends, meet some new ones, give back this holiday season and, of course, dance.

"Year over year, we consistently provide the biggest holiday party of the season. There will be no disappointments. Come see old friends and meet plenty of new ones in the process," he said. "Nowhere in the Berkshires will you find a city style club event like this one. On top of all the fun, we will be giving back to such a great charity that has been a staple in the Northern Berkshire community for over 50 years."

The Ale House is located at  8-10 E Hoosac St. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the event ends at 1 a.m.

Attendees must be 21 and older.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. They can be purchased at the Adams Ale House or here
