An exhibition by Kaliegh Hayes. This semester, Hayes explored the concept of self-care and basic practices for all types of people to use. “The intention of my artwork,” Hayes said, “is to start a conversation about self care.” By using paint on canvas, the body of work discusses mental and physical self-care in primary practices.

The exhibition is part of MCLA’s Senior Art Project, the capstone course for art majors. The Senior Art Project is a three-credit course offered to senior art majors, which allows them develop a body of work and to build an artist portfolio.

"Cura te Ipsum" remains on view through January 21.
