NASHUA, N.H. -- MCLA's Lauren Mangiardi scored a goal and collected an assist as she led the Trailblazers to a 2-0 road win over Rivier this evening in non league action.

MCLA's Kate Mancini scored the game winner in the 41st minute of play. She knocked home a feed from Mangiardi and the Trailblazers would lead 1-0.  The game would stay that way into halftime before Mangiardi struck again.

This time, it was just 1:35 into the second half.  The Taconic graduate tallied an unassisted marker to increase the lead to 2-0. The goal was her team leading eighth of the season.

Neither team mounted much offense on the crisp, cool night as MCLA held a 12-4 overall shot advantage over the Raiders. Rivier couldn't get a ball past Hoosac Valley graduate Megan Richardson, who earned the shutout for MCLA. It was her sixth win of the season and she stopped both shots on net.

The Trailblazers (6-10) are back in action this weekend as they host Bridgewater State in the season finale.  The date and time are pending due to the approaching storm.  More information will be available tomorrow by mid afternoon regarding date and time.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Keene State received a second half goal from LJ Luster in the 47th minute to lift the visiting Owls to a 1-0 win over the MCLA Trailblazers this evening at chilly Shewcraft Field.

The Owls (12-4) controlled play in the opening half but the game was scoreless after 45 minutes of action. The visitors didn't wait long to push ahead though scoring just after intermission.  Owl mid-fielder Donovan Harris ripped a shot from the top of the box that was deflected and fell right to Luster. He headed it home for his first goal of the season and in the process gave Keene State a 1-0 advantage.

MCLA (0-14-1) played better in the second half and had some scoring chances but ultimately could not get the ball past Owl keeper Gavin Fitzpatrick.  He earned the shutout for Keene stopping five shots to earn his third win of the season.

Keene held a decided 23-10 shot advantage but MCLA did hold a 6-4 mark in corners.

MCLA's Holvin Nieves took the loss but did collect 8 saves for the Trailblazers.

The Trailblazers will wrap up their season this weekend when they head to Bridgewater State University.
