12:00pm-3:00pm: Annual Celebration and Music- Grill food and platter will be provided by the Berkshire Chapter of the AMC and pot luck is encouraged!

Yoga on the Farm with Lindsay McGinnis: Take your yoga practice to the farm! More specifically, Red Shirt Farm in Lanesboro and FLY Lindsay McGinnis will be offering a series of yoga classes on the green at the farm. This will give yoga practitioners a chance to reconnect to the nourishing earth, to their local food system and, ultimately, to what is sacred. This monthly Saturday series give an opportunity to set foot on a farm to practice a somewhat traditional hour-long Hatha class.

Bring a mat and additional props that are apart of your practice (ie blanket, blocks, strap, etc.), water, and sunblock. Call to register.

Take in the beautiful view from Sunset Rock on the Hoosac Range and enjoy a post-hike wine and cheese gathering hosted by BNRC volunteer Ron, just down the road! Join us on the 1.5-mile roundtrip hike with moderate climbs to the overlook. Please bring water and appropriate footwear.

Difficulty: Moderate (moderate pace, moderate elevation changes)

Directions: From Pittsfield, take Rt. 8 North. At the Cumberland Farms, take a right onto Rt. 8A. Take a right onto Rt. 2. After climbing the hairpin turns, the BNRC parking lot will be on the right, immediately following the Wigwam Cabins.

Baseball Clinics will be led by our coaching staff and players.  All SteepleCats Baseball Clinics are run by our Manager, Justin Sumner and coached by a crew of our own SteepleCats players. This is a great chance to meet and interact with the SteepleCats, where kids will learn some baseball fundamentals and play ball at Joe Wolfe Field. For Boys and Girls ages 6-12. These events are free. You can join the Cubs Club summer reading program through the SteepleCats or North Adams Public Library. On Sunday afternoons Cubs Club members and their families gather at the ballpark to enjoy a book reading followed by a Steeplecats game. Outdoor activities that promote healthy, active lifestyles will also be offered. During the games families can play some lawn games or sit and watch the game in a designated Cub Club area, cheering on players they have gotten to know through the program. At the Meet-Ups kids will be encouraged to engage in a community of youth at the ballpark wholly unique to the SteepleCats.
