North Adams Youth Hockey Hosts Bruins Academy this Fall

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League will host the Boston Bruins Academy Learn to Play Hockey Program to the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in October.
 
 The Boston Bruins Academy is open to children ages 4 to 9 who are interested in learning the sport of hockey. Prior skating lessons are highly recommended prior to participating in this program.    
 
Every player who registers for the program at a cost of $100, receives a full, free set of CCM equipment valued at $500 retail, a professional personalized fitting and four weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches and NHL Alumni.  Fittings will take place during the Boston Bruins annual Summer Fan Fest Tour stop on Aug. 24 in Springfield, Mass..

Since 1969, the Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League has provided a safe, fun environment for youth to learn and play the sport of ice hockey. House and travel programs, including Learn to Skate and Learn to Play, are offered for children ages 4 to 17 in Berkshire County, MA and bordering cities and towns in Vermont and New York.
 
NBYHL stresses the importance of physical fitness and reinforces core values of sportsmanship; respect for the individual; integrity; pursuit of excellence as an individual, team and organization; enjoyment; loyalty; and teamwork.
