NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Justin Girard scored 10 points, and Hayden Bird added eight to lead Alton & Westall Real Estate to a 48-44 win over Central Radio on Sunday in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Nick Dabrowski led Central Radio with 19 points, and Dahndray Sistrunk added 17 in the loss.

 

In Sunday's other game, the Celtics beat Sunday Hoops, 54-30.

 

Jeric Taylor scored nine, and Keith Czubryt, Wyatt Tucker and Chris Bennett each had eight in a balanced Celtics attack.

 

Bob Malloy scored 16 to lead Sunday Hoops.

 

Monday's games at Noel Field will start at 7 p.m. because of the current heat wave.

 

Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli will take on Moresi & Associates in the first game of the double-header. Yard Work by Dan will play Fortitude Strength & Conditioning in the nightcap.
