We're moving the market INDOORS and keeping it going throughout the winter and spring months! The North Adams Winter Farmers Market will take place every 1st Saturday of the month from November-May, from 9am - 1pm. We accept EBT/Debit/CC. Our SNAPx2 Program will have a $15 maximum, but we will continue the doubling program with this cap while funding lasts. Music from Miss Guided 10am - 1pm!

All of the Park’s beautifully decorated holiday displays are designed and handcrafted by members of our maintenance staff. Walk, bike or drive through the Park and take in the spirit, beauty and simplicity of an old fashioned holiday season. This is a FREE holiday event. Donations are appreciated.

Celebrate the holiday season at Hancock Shaker Village. There’s magic in the air. Wreaths on doors. Twinkling lights illuminating the village. It reminds us of long-ago winter days filled with wonder. Delight in life’s simple gifts, and relax, play, shop, dine, make things, and make memories at the Village. Walk, ski, or snowshoe (weather permitting) our Farm & Forest Trail. Say hello to the baby cows and other heritage breeds that live in our barn. Visit the 19th century Brick Dwelling with a guide (tours at 11am and 1pm). Witness blacksmithing demonstrations on Saturdays. Shop for the holidays in Shaker Mercantile for hand-crafted goods you can’t find anywhere else, several made here at the Village. Visit the kids’ holiday craft drop-in workshops Saturdays 11-3. Enjoy warm food and drink at Seeds Market Cafe.

We have the picture-perfect backdrop for your family holiday photo. Come sit in our antique Shaker sleigh trimmed with holiday decorations in front of the famous Round Stone Barn. Be sure to visit our children’s holiday craft workshop. Saturdays between 11am-3pm beginning November 25 drop in and create a different craft each week. Warm up with complimentary cocoa.

Holiday exhibit with more than 100 trees decorated with imagination and tales of fantasy and whimsy, strange juxtapositions and marvelous scenes, and a quizzical, fanciful treasure hunt for hidden objects. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Morgan Bulkeley: Nature Culture Clash, a career retrospective that includes paintings, sculpture, and a site-specific installation.
