To the Editor:
Kevin Towle has earned and deserves our vote on Tuesday, Oct. 10, as the next state representative for the 1st Berkshire District.
Kevin Towle has continued the great work of the Honorable Gailanne Cariddi whom we lost in June.
If you stopped by the office in recent months, you would see every bill she sponsored listed on the wall. He explained to me that he was going to work to see every one of those bills passed. To do that, he has worked diligently and effectively with the commonwealth legislators and Western Massachusetts delegation.
This summer Kevin assisted me with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue to have my Senior Circuit Breaker funds released. For low-income seniors these funds offer relief for property taxes over and above what seniors ought to be paying and helps to keep them in their homes.
I am sure there are many stories like mine about his assistance to constituents; his gentle and caring manner; his open and welcoming demeanor, and his very apparent integrity while serving the First District residents.
No one is more qualified to fill this office, as he is already, and has been, more than effectively doing the work.
Please vote for Kevin Towle as our First Berkshire District State representative on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
