NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Lawrence Carrier scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Wednesday to lead Troiano & Sons/Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli to a 71-58 win over Lifting Standards in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Dave Wellington scored 15, and Ron Kelly added 14 in the Troiano & Sons win.

 

Kollin Allard scored 14, and Dalton Nicholas and Bill Jammer each finished in double figures for Lifting Standards in a game moved to the North Adams Armory.

 

In Wednesday's other game, Pete's Gun Shop/Maselli & Tanzman defeated Frank Field Contracting, 55-30.

 

Wyatt Tucker had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Greg Vreeland scored 15 for Petes.

 

Jameson Coughlan led Frank Field with nint points and eight rebounds.

 

The league has two games scheduled Sunday at Noel Field starting at 6:30.
