NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Joe Wiggins scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Sunday to help Yard Work by Dan earn a 78-69 win over Moonlight Diner in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Tank Roberson and Keiland Cross each scored a team-high 13 to lead Yard Work, which got 10 poitns apiece from Lavante Wiggins and Nolan Bird.

 

Brendan Kordana scored a game-high 25, and Treyvon Sims and Anthony Sims each scored in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively, for Moonlight Diner. Anthony Sims grabbed seven rebounds.

 

In Sunday's other game, Lawrence Carrier scored 28 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead Troiano & Sons/Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli to a 71-58 win over the North Adams Celtics.

 

Sedale Jones scored 14, and Jayden Cross and Kevin Troiano added 13 and 12, respectively, in the win.

 

Matt Belini and Kyle McClendon each scored 12 for the Celtics, who got 11 poitns and eight boards from Brandon Koprowski.

 

Two games are scheduled for Monday evening at Noel Field, with the North Adams Armory as a rainout site.
