"The college’s Department of Business Administration and Economics is honored proud to celebrate the academic accomplishments of this wonderful group of scholars," Nancy Ovitsky, business administration professor at MCLA and the faculty advisor to Delta Mu Delta, said. "Also, in this time of transition and uncertainty in our country and our business community, we are especially pleased that the motto of the Delta Mu Delta honor society reflects the need for business organizations to work for the greater good: 'Dia Matheseos Dynamis,' which signifies the motto, 'Through Knowledge Power,' the power to manage creatively for social and economic good."

Zeta Zeta, the MCLA chapter of Delta Mu Delta, was chartered in 1992. Delta Mu Delta recognizes and rewards scholastic achievement in business subjects and promotes scholarship in training for business.

Founded in 1913, Delta Mu Delta was established to recognize and reward superior scholastic achievement by students of business administration.  In 1963, it was admitted to membership in the Association of College Honor Societies, an organization of 68 member national honor societies whose purpose is to maintain desirable standards.
