The Northern Berkshire Phenoms put the bow on their third season over the Father's Day weekend.

The 17-and-under team finished second in the varsity division at the inaugural Summer Heat Check Invitational tournament hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Pittsfield. The 14-and-under team kept busy too, winning the 8th-grade division in Pittsfield and losing in the semi-finals at the Basketball Summer Tip-Off Classic in Springfield.

After a short break from the winter season, the two teams hit the gym again in April to play a six-tournament schedule. The 17u's took home second place honors in their final two tournaments, while the 14u team finished with three tournament championships and on second place medal. The 14u's also competed in the greater Boston area at the Zero Gravity National Finals, where they received votes as one of the Top 10 8th grade teams to have been hosted by Zero Gravity this spring.

The Phenoms consisted of players throughout the Northern and Central Berkshires. Student-athletes from Mount Greylock, Drury, McCann Tech, Hoosac Valley, Pittsfield, Taconic, and Wahconah teamed up to represent Berkshire County with pride.

The 17u team was coached by Chris Piscioneri, who will be serving as an assistant at Castleton College in the winter, and the 14us were headed up by Kollin Allard and David Baumbach.
