CLERMONT, Fla.- The MCLA women's lacrosse team wrapped up play on its southern swing as they fell to Eastern Connecticut, 15-4, on Sunday.
The Warriors wasted little time taking control as they led 15-1 after a half of play. They dominated the half outshooting the Trailblazers, 26-2, in the opening stanza.
MCLA (0-2) outscored the Warriors, 3-0, in the second half, but the outcome was already decided.
The Trailblazers got goals from Taylor Brewer, Natalie Caney, Mackenzie Cutler, and Tanelle Ciempa.
MCLA will open up its northern slate on Wednesday at home when it challenges Sage at Shewcraft Field at 4 p.m.
