To the Editor:
This letter is for those heartless people in Washington who don't believe we people on Social Security need a cost of living increase.
I say for two months, let's have you try to live on what I make per month. That's $93 a month in SNAP and $868 in cash. Even though I'm on housing, I still have bills to pay. By the time that happens, I barely had enough for food. Now with the holidays just around the corner, it's going to be even tougher.
Congress keeps saying that they're concerned about us poor people, then why not give those who can no longer work enough to live on? If you can't , then maybe it's time to elect people who can and will.
