NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Brandon Williams ran a time of 17 minutes, 22 seconds to win the Greylock Federal Fall Foliage 5K on Sunday afternoon.

 

Williams, 35, ran a pace of 5:33 per mile and edged runner-up Alex Schueckler, 25, by 11 seconds.

 

Eighteen-year-old Haley Bowers was the first woman across the finish line, coming in in 20:43 (6:38 per mile).

 

Bowers finished eighth overall and was followed by Elizabeth St. Clair, 57, who was the second-fastest woman in 22:16 and finished 16th overall.

 

The race was finished by 135 runners, ranging in age from 71-year-old Henry Art and Eric White, who finished 61st and 100th, respectively, to 4-year-old Kiersten Hartwig.
