NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- David Schanz went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in to lead the Sanford Mainers to a 7-4 win over the North Adams SteepleCats in New England Collegiate Baseball League action on Saturday.

 

Jim Haley went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for North Adams (14-15).

 

Reliever Derek Baker gave up two earned runs in 3-1/3 innings to take the loss.

 

North Adams will look to snap a three-game losing streak and get back to .500 when it hosts Danbury on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Joe Wolfe Field.
