HOLYOKE, Mass. -- The Berkshire Elite 16 and under AAU boys basketball team won the Mass Fusion's A.J. Midura Classic tournament over the weekend at Holyoke High School.

 

The Elite won three games in pool play and then defeated Canada's Niagara North, 67-63, in the final.

 

The team has 11 high school sophomores and one eighth-grader, Drury's Reece Racette.

 

The other players include: Drury's Hayden Bird, Connor Meehan and Bryce Webb; McCann Tech's Jake Tower; Mount Greylock's Max Joy; Pittsfield's Tyrell and Terrick Boire; and Taconic's Chris Valuski, Ethan Dean, Matt Stracuzzi and Deonte Sandifer.
