NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Gallery 51 announces that its Annual Affordable Art Show, “Art to Go!” will open on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Previously known as the “99 Cent! Show,” this year’s holiday art exhibit will feature affordable artwork created by professional – and mostly local – artists.
This year’s show celebrates the City of North Adams; highlighting its art and artists, famous church steeples, the Mohawk Theater Marquee, and other landmarks surrounded by the beautiful Berkshire Mountains.
All artwork is sold “cash and carry” with simple “brown paper” gift wrap available upon request. Everything will be priced between $.99 and $99.99.
Featured local artists include: Melanie Mowinski, Richard Harrington, Sarah Sutro, Julia Morgan Leamon, David Lachman, Michelle Daly, Mary Ellen Beattie, Jennifer Huberdeau, Amrita Lash, Ellen Joffe-Halprin, and many more.
The exhibit will run in MCLA Gallery 51 through Dec. 30. MCLA Gallery 51 is a program of MCLA’s Berkshire Cultural Resource Center. The callery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. MCLA Gallery 51, 51 Main St. For more information, call 413-664-8718 or visit mcla.edu/gallery51.
