Greylock Hillclimb Time Trail

The Northampton Cycling Club’s Mt. Greylock Hillclimb is an annual bicycle race up the north face of Mt. Greylock to the summit at 3,489′, the highest point in Massachusetts.  The course covers 9.1 miles, with grades as steep as 17%, and a few brief descents in the first half of the course.  The race is run in time trial format, with riders starting at 30-second intervals, with no drafting allowed. The spectacular views from the summit cover four states, and the event concludes with a post-race party with great food and beer at the Freight Yard Pub.

Each year North Adams plays host to the annual Berkshire Food Festival on its scenic Main Street. The event, one of the largest festivals of its kind in Berkshire County, features the cuisine of at least twenty restaurants, along with micro-brewed beer and wine tasting, an eclectic mix of live music and drawings for gift certificates from participating eateries.

The Handmade Holiday Festival is a curated, modern craft fair featuring contemporary makers, artisans, designers, and food producers. From pottery and jewelry to chocolates and quilts, it is a one-stop spot for holiday shopping in the Berkshires. Showcasing handmade goods by local and regional artisans, we give shoppers the opportunity to meet and support the makers of their gifts AND keep their holiday spending in the community!

Tourist Booth - Call For Volunteers
