 | | Tracy McConnell | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Tracy McConnell, assistant vice president for commercial lending of Hoosac and Williamstown Savings banks, recently graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia, according to Ryan Leap, senior vice president for commercial lending.
The banks are subsidiaries of MountainOne Financial Partners, which also includes South Coastal Bank; Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan & Collins; Stevenson & Co.; and True North.
"Stonier has given Tracy an unparalleled education from the best in the financial services industry, as well as the chance to exchange information and ideas with peers," said Leap.
The ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking is a three-year program for bank executives. Students hail from numerous countries, representing banks of all sizes, as well as state and federal regulatory agencies and other financial services organizations. This is the school's 77th year and the session was held in June at the University of Pennsylvania.
Since its inception in 1935, more than 17,000 students have followed a curriculum of more than 45 courses and enjoy networking opportunities with more than 500 fellow students.
McConnell is responsible for developing new business relationships and enhancing existing relationships. She handles every step of the business lending process, including analysis, underwriting, and approval. Her lending territory includes all of Berkshire County, as well as Vermont and New York. She has more than 17 years of banking experience and was business loan operations officer, business credit administrator, and assistant head teller. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending and the Advanced School of Commercial Lending held at Babson College. She also holds a General Banking Diploma from the American Institute of Banking.
McConnell resides in Williamstown with her husband, John, and their two sons.
MountainOne Financial Partners, a mutual holding company headquartered in North Adams, has combined assets of over $800 million and over 200 employees.
