NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Morrison Berkshire captured its second straight North Adams Little League City Championship with a 7-6 victor over R.I. Baker on June 19.
Pitcher Conor Clark and his defense held R.I. Baker to one run through the first six innings, while the offense posted six runs. R.I. Baker then strung together a late-inning rally to send the game to extra innings. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Clark stole home to clinch the victory.
This is the third championship in four seasons for Morrison Berkshire.
